What is drop shipping?

Drop shipping is a business model in which a reseller lists, markets and sells a supplier's products without the need to buy and carry the products in stock. When a reseller receives an order for a supplier's product, the reseller pays for the product and provides shipping instructions to the supplier, who then ships the product directly to the reseller's customer.

Who are suppliers?

Suppliers are generally manufacturers, wholesalers, or distributors of merchandise. However, any business that sells products that they carry in stock, can provide pictures and descriptions of, and can ship themselves can become a supplier on DropCircle.

Who are resellers?

Resellers are generally businesses that sell directly to consumers. Resellers usually keep very limited, if any, quantities of merchandise in stock. On the Internet, resellers do not have to keep any merchandise in stock if they utilize drop shipping to have their orders fulfilled by suppliers.

How does DropCircle work?

Suppliers upload their product information such as product pictures, descriptions, prices, and other relevant details to DropCircle. Resellers use DropCircle to find suppliers and choose which products they would like to sell to customers. Resellers then download the suppliers' product pictures, descriptions, and other information from DropCircle and list the products for sale on websites and other mediums. When resellers receive orders for suppliers' products, resellers use DropCircle to provide payment and shipping instructions to suppliers, who then ship the products directly to resellers' customers. Suppliers enter tracking information into DropCircle so that resellers can pass on relevant information to their customers.

Dow we need to install anything?

No. DropCircle is 100% web-based with no hardware or software to install.

How will drop shipping improve my business?

If you possess inventory, by becoming a drop shipping supplier, you can have hundreds of retailers across the country marketing and selling your products for you. All you will need to do is get paid for your products then ship them directly to your resellers' customers.

If you do not possess inventory, by becoming a drop shipping reseller, you will have access to hundreds of suppliers across the country, whose products you can list and sell without having to purchase them beforehand. All you will need to do is order products from your suppliers AFTER you have sold them and then have the products shipped directly to your customers.
